Victim of stick-up refuses to hand over her wallet in incident at Perry Bay Supermarket

An offence of aggravated assault is being investigated by the Police
after a Cooks Extension woman was attacked by two young men.
Reports say the woman went to the Grays Farm Police Station to
lodge her complaint about the incident, which reportedly occurred
at about 9 p.m. on December 2, at the Perry Bay Supermarket
parking lot.

The woman says she had completed her shopping and had pushed a
cart with her groceries to her vehicle in the parking lot.
After she returned the cart to the supermarket and went back to her
vehicle, she saw a young man, about 5’6” in height and dressed in a
black shirt, a pair of brown shorts, and a red cap coming from the
left passenger seat.

When the woman reportedly inquired why he was in her vehicle, he
allegedly pointed what appeared to be a black handgun at her and
threatened to shoot.

Another young man, wearing a long white shirt and jeans, then
reportedly approached her and demanded that she hand over her
wallet.

The hold-up victim allegedly refused, and the pair ran off in an
easterly direction.

CCTV footage of the area was reviewed and the Police were able to
observe certain movements that would be of assistance during their
inquiries.
