Police corporal reportedly faces disciplinary charges after alleged incident at prime minister’s home

An incident that allegedly occurred at the home of Prime Minister
Gaston Browne has led to charges being proffered against a police
officer.

Well-placed sources tell REAL News that the alleged incident has led
to a corporal being slapped with three internal disciplinary charges.

Reportedly, the officer is facing two counts of neglect of duty and a
single count of disobedience to orders.

But the sources could not disclose any details about what had
transpired at Browne’s home, or with whom, that could have led to
the officer being charged.

According to our sources, if he pleads guilty, the officer will face a
trial before a tribunal of senior officers. And if he is convicted, he
faces various punishments, including financial penalties.

The sources claim the officer has already been served with copies of
the charges after a disciplinary probe was conducted by a senior
officer, a sergeant.

It is alleged that this incident occurred on Saturday, November 25.
