Willikies man implicated in stabbing incident is found in Yorks, after Police receive tip-off   

A man who was wanted by the Police for a stabbing was taken into
custody this past weekend and is assisting with investigations into
the alleged incident.
 
Reports say that officers, including some from the Criminal
Investigations Department (CID), went on duty in Yorks Village on
Saturday morning, November 25, after receiving information about
a Willikies man who had been involved in a wounding.
 
Officers reportedly received the tip-off at about 7:20 a.m. and went
to Yorks, where they saw the 25-year-old man with multiple
abrasions about his body.
 
The incident in which he allegedly had been involved had taken
place on November 24, the day before he was taken into custody.
 
The Police subsequently arrested him on suspicion of wounding and
he was taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he was
treated for his injuries.


Subsequently, he was handed over to a senior officer from the
Willikies Police Station.
