Another woman falls prey to early-morning gunman and is robbed of her cell phone on Wireless Road

Another woman has been the victim of an armed robber and was
relieved of her cell phone during the harrowing ordeal.

Reports say the Wireless Road woman complained to the Criminal
Investigations Department (CID) that she had been robbed of her
black Samsung S12 cellular phone by a lone gunman.

The victim claims she was walking from north to south on the
Wireless Road, at about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, when a
silver Toyota Vitz pulled up alongside her.

Reportedly a tall, slim man exited the car, pointed a small black
handgun at her, and demanded her phone.

She says she immediately handed it over to him, after which he
drove off in a southern direction.

Meanwhile, a similar incident also occurred on Saturday, on the St.
Johnstons Village main road. It involved an All Saints woman who
was attacked and assaulted, but not robbed.

Reportedly, she had been on her way to work. Upon reaching the
vicinity of a Spanish bar on the same road, a lone gunman exited a
navy blue Toyota Vitz and struck her with a gun.

With all these early-morning attacks and robberies, a source tells
REAL News that women, especially, should avoid walking alone,
even when going to work.

According to the source, employers should try to provide
transportation for their employees, picking them up at their homes,
if possible, and taking them directly to their homes at the end of
their night shifts, in particular.
