Tabor encourages everyone to lean in as Opposition parliamentarians address the people’s issues in a new forum

Anticipation is building as word of Opposition-hosted “People’s
Parliament” continues to spread, says Damani Tabor, public
relations officer of the United Progressive Party (UPP).

The event, which will be held this Thursday, January 18, will see a
coalition of Opposition parliamentarians – six UPP representatives,
Barbuda MP Trevor Walker, and Independent MP Asot
Michael, representative for St. Peter – break down the 2024 budget
and address a host of issues plaguing the Nation.

Tabor says they will also present solutions to the problems that
citizens and residents commonly face.

Accordingly, Tabor is inviting the public to turn out to the
event, which will be held at Freedom Hall on lower Newgate Street
and begin at 5 p.m. with a roundtable discussion among the
Opposition senators.

The public relations officer says the event will be broadcast live via
the MYUPP Facebook page and on Progressive 107.3 FM and
Observer Radio.
