Argument at St. Johnston’s Village bar ends up with girlfriend being slammed into metal door and boyfriend on the run

A man is in trouble for wounding his girlfriend while they were at a bar on the weekend.
 
As a result of the incident, the 49-year-old woman was taken to the Emergency Room of the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where the wound to her head was treated.
 
The Hispanic woman, a resident of St. Johnston’s Village, reportedly received the injury when her head was slammed into a metal door.
 
Reports are that she was at a bar with her boyfriend of same address when they got into an argument. The altercation resulted in him reportedly committing the offence, which occurred at about 11:54 p.m. on October 22.
 
Officers initially conducted a search for the alleged offender, but without success. However, further inquiries into the incident continue.
