INTRUDER REMOVES SECURITY CAMERA DURING BREAK-IN AT HIGH STREET FABRIC STORE

The Police are searching for a man who broke into a High Street fabric store at about 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 23.

The man was caught on surveillance camera, for about one minute and 30 seconds, searching through the business’ storeroom.

He looked through the entire room before stumbling upon the video camera, which he then removed.  Up to that point it did not appear that he had taken anything.

The man was clad in three-quarter-length pants, a purple hoodie, and a pair of blue gloves.  While walking around with an opened black umbrella, he was also shouldering a pink knapsack. Anyone who sees the video and recognizes the young man is being asked to contact the nearest police station
