NO NEW COVID INFECTIONS RECORDED ON SUNDAY, WHILE ONLY 16 CASES ARE NOW ACTIVE
Following the announcement that there was one new lab-confirmed COVID-19 case on Saturday, May 22, the Ministry of Health says no new infections were recorded on Sunday, May 23.
Therefore, total confirmed cases remain at 1,258 and include 16 active cases. Although 16 persons are now in isolation, there are no virus-related hospitalizations.
Meanwhile, 32,737 persons, so far, have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. And as the roll-out of the second dose continues, 8,579 persons have been administered the jab.
