Man left nursing two wounds after Tuesday night’s drive-by shooting in Grays Farm; Police are investigating

Police are investigating an incident in the Rural West community that left a man nursing gunshot wounds.

Officers say they are continuing investigations into the alleged offense that left Adam O’Garro with multiple injuries.

Reports are that O’Garro was walking along Parliament Street in Grays Farm when a vehicle pulled up alongside, and an occupant opened gunfire on him. 

He reportedly sustained wounds to his left knee and right buttock and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. According to reports, doctors there said his injuries are not life threatening. 

The shooting reportedly occurred between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20.
