Investigations into a wounding report turn up goods believed to be stolen in Old Parham Road man’s home

The Police’s search of an Old Parham Road house in relation to a wounding
incident has unearthed items believed to have been stolen, as they clearly
belong to persons other than the residents of that home.

Reports say that officers executed a search warrant at the home at about 2:30
p. m. on April 17.

The man of the house was present, in addition to a Clare Hall resident and a
14-year-old minor.

During the search, the Police found an HP laptop, as well as a black wallet that
contained an ECAB debit card in the name of another man, who does not
reside at that place.

Reports say the officers seized the items and took them to St. John’s Police
Station for investigation purposes.

A report of a wounding had been made to the Criminal Investigation
Department and the warrant was being executed in relation to that offence.
