Man narrowly escapes being hurt in drive-by shooting on Perry Bay Main Road

A shooting incident is being investigated after a Denfields man
allegedly was fired upon while driving in the Perry Bay area.

Reportedly, the man was driving from east to west on the Perry Bay
Main Road, when a blue Honda FIT with no number plates drove
past him.

Allegedly, the man then saw a hand with a gun being pointed
through the window of the FIT and heard what sounded like three
gunshots fired in his direction.

Reports say the victim immediately turned his vehicle around and
went to the Grays Farm Police Station, where he made a report.
As a result of the report, several officers, including from the Criminal
Investigations Department, went on duty at the Perry Bay Main
Road to conduct investigations.

The officers conducted a search of the area and were able to recover
three spent 9 mm shells.

This incident reportedly occurred at about 11:35 p.m. on November
10.
