Entire UPP team joins Shugy’s mobilization caravan, as Party enters home-stretch to Tuesday

It is the home stretch to the by-election in St. Mary’s South, which is
less than 24 hours away, and the United Progressive Party (UPP)
will be ramping up its campaign and support with its Mega
Mobilization Caravan and Spot Rally this afternoon, October 23.

This event will be moving through the constituency, after gathering
at the Bolans playing field, and taking the message to the people.

During strategic stops, the Party’s MPs, caretakers, endorsers,
members, and the UPP candidate himself, Kelvin “Shugy” Simon, will
be addressing constituents, as the UPP continues its get-out-the-vote
campaign for Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Simon says he is ready for what is to come during the
by-election and expresses confidence that he will be returned to
office.

The Blue candidate notes that this is his second election for the year
and he and his team are geared up and excited.

He reports that his campaigners were making calls on Monday,
October 23, reaching out to supporters and others to encourage
them to go out and vote.

The Party appears to be making the by-election an event, with all of
its caretakers and MPs set to join Simon in St. Mary’s to monitor the
day’s activities and the counting that will follow.

Simon is therefore thanking the Party and all the members of the
Redeem Team for their love and overwhelming support these past
120 days.

In addition to Simon, two other candidates – from the Antigua
Labour Party and the Democratic National Alliance – will be
contesting the St. Mary’s South poll.
