Survivor of Green Bay gun attack remains hospitalized, but his condition is said to be improving

As the Police continue to search for the perpetrators in Monday
night’s double-shooting in Green Bay, the male victim is reported to
be doing much better.

He remains a patient at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, nursing
multiple gunshot injuries. But reports say that 24-year-old Kenarka
Ryan is now stable and his condition has improved.

Ryan and a female on the scene, Neeyah Rose, were both shot
several times by unidentified gunmen.

They were both rushed to the hospital, but Rose, 20, the mother of
one child, died later that same night after undergoing emergency
surgery.

An appeal has been made for information about this incident, which
brought the country’s 2023 homicide figure to three.

In the meantime, sources tell REAL News the deceased young
woman is the sister of an earlier homicide victim, whose remains
were found in a burned-out vehicle near Freetown about two years
ago.

They also allege that the hospitalized male was the victim on an
earlier gun attack.
