Tony Henry, believed to be armed and dangerous, being sought by Police after escaping during stop-and-search exercise

A Wanted Bulletin has been issued for a 30-year-old Pares Village, or Collins area man, who is wanted in connection with firearm and ammunition-related offences.

According to the Police, Tony Henry managed to escape from a vehicle that was intercepted by members of the Special Services Unit and Defence Force soldiers, during a joint stop-and-search operation in the Wallings area on Sunday, September 4.


Reports say the Police have since retrieved a modified flare gun, several rounds of ammunition, and a quantity of cannabis from the vehicle, which was seized and taken to Headquarters.

Henry is believed to be armed and, as such, is considered dangerous.  Lawmen are appealing to him to surrender at any police station.

In the meantime, anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to contact the nearest station, or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913, or Crimestoppers at 800-Tips (8477).
