Cabinet extends get-well sentiments to hospitalized Sir Wright George and condolences to family of Sergeant Atlee

The Police Force is mourning the death of a senior officer while praying for the
recovery of a former commissioner of police.
 
According to reports, retired Police Commissioner Sir Wright George, aged 93,
has been hospitalized for about a week.
 
Sir Wright has enjoyed the distinction of having the police training school at
Langfords re-named in his honour.
 
As a mark of respect, the Executive acknowledged his condition at its meeting
on Wednesday, May 22, and dispatched get-well wishes to his family and the
police fraternity among others.
 
Meanwhile, the Cabinet also expressed condolences to the family of Sergeant
Fitzroy Atlee, who passed away days ago following a prolonged illness.
