A Johnstons Village resident, Genel Pryce, was rushed into
emergency surgery on Friday, April 5, after he was stabbed five
times in the neck and received a puncture wound to his throat.

Details surrounding the morning incident are sketchy, but police
reports indicate that lawmen were informed of the wounding by a
911 operator.

Having been notified by the emergency dispatcher, officers then
went to the hospital, but were unable to interview the victim
because he was being attended by medical officials.
