All Saints teen scheduled for surgery after reported wounding by two Liberta males

A 17-year-old All Saints male is to undergo surgery at the Sir
Lester Bird Medical Centre, allegedly following an attack by two
teenage males from Liberta.

According to police reports, Jermaine Joseph was attacked and
wounded on his leg and forearm at about 7:30 pm on Wednesday,
April 3, while walking home.

The reported assault took place in an area close to the All Saints
Secondary School.

Upon reaching home, the teenager told his mother what had taken
place and she called the Police.

Joseph was issued a Police Medical Examination Form and then
transported to the hospital by the Emergency Medical Services.
Doctors deemed his wounds to be serious and admitted him to
undergo surgery.

The Police carried out a search for the two accused, but their
efforts were not successful at that time.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
