Sudden death of United Nations team member at JBR now under police investigation

A member of the visiting United Nations team was found dead in his
room at the Jolly Beach Resort on Tuesday evening, March 5, and
police investigations into the matter have commenced.

Since this was a sudden death, a post mortem examination will have
to be conducted to determine the exact cause.

Reports say the man was here to assist local officials with
preparations for the 4th  Conference on Small Island Developing
States (SIDS4), scheduled to take place from May 27 to 30.

The country is expecting that the event will attract thousands of
delegates, including heads of state and governments, from around
the world.
