Mount Pleasant woman says she has no cash, so masked intruders relieve her of Samsung cell phone at gunpoint

Two people were robbed at gunpoint by a pair of masked assailants,
who took their cell phones after being unable to get money.

Reports say that a Mount Pleasant woman notified the Langfords
Police Station of the incident in which her roommate was also a
victim.

This offence reportedly occurred at about 9:41 p.m. on Monday, July
3.

Reports say the victim was in her bedroom when two masked men,
dressed in dark clothing and wearing gloves, entered.

The robber with the gun allegedly demanded money, but the woman
informed him that she did not have any. Reportedly, he then took
her blue Samsung A23 phone and they left the house, speeding off in
a silver Vitz.

Apparently the robbers had gained entry by removing the screen
from a southern living-room window amd then made their way to
an eastern bedroom where the woman was.

A search was carried out in the surrounding area for the
perpetrators, but without success.
