Immigration officer crashes vehicle mere yards from his workplace on the Sir George Walter Highway
An Immigration officer is said to be nursing injuries after being involved in a serious traffic accident only a few meters away from his workplace on the Sir George Walter Highway.
It is unclear what caused the accident; but photos in circulation show the white motorcar on its roof, pisitioned over a small culvert on the western side of the road. Parts of the car were strewn over the roadway, as well.
A source says the man’s airbag was deployed as a result of the impact, after he allegedly overtook six vehicles and the car flipped four times.
The extent of the driver’s injuries could not be ascertained, nor any other information about the accident, since messages to the Head of the Traffic Department, ASP Rodney Ellis, were not answered.
