Senator Joseph delivers on promise and has uncollected garbage removed from Harmony Drive

Senator Jonathon Joseph, the United Progressive Party (UPP) Candidate for St. Mary’s North, has fulfilled his promise to constituents: to collect and dispose of their garbage, since the relevant agency has failed to do so.

Earlier this week, Joseph reported on the unsightly and unhealthy situation in which some Cashew Hill residents found themselves, with garbage uncollected on Harmony Drive reportedly for a month.

As evidence, Joseph shared photos with REAL News, showing the pile-up of garbage bags outside one home.

The UPP Candidate had recognized the situation as a health hazard and called on the National Solid Waste Management Authority and Minister of Health Sir Molwyn Joseph – the area’s parliamentary representative – to take action.

Senator Joseph also pledged that if by today, April 1, nothing had been done, he would take matters into his own hands.

Today, he spoke on the Good Morning Sass Show about his efforts to help these constituents.

Joseph says that he is a man of, and for, the people and he will do anything in his power to assist them.

He says the people of this country and his constituents need good and competent representation.
