COVID – 19 INFECTIONS FOR FRIDAY SHOW ONE NEW LAB – CONFIRMED CASE OF THE VIRUS

The Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC) processed a total of 170 samples from which only one was positive.
 
Consequently, there are now 1,198 lab-confirmed cases of the virus in Antigua and Barbuda. Of that figure, 230 are active cases and there are 12 hospitalizations.
 
Meanwhile, two persons have recovered from the virus, bringing that total to 938.
 
Over a three-day period, 19 cases of the virus have been recorded. On Thursday, April 8, there were 15 positive cases, with these results released only on Saturday, April 10.
 
And on Wednesday, April 7, three new infections were recorded from 83 samples tested at the Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC).
