ABEC PRO says wait for voter’s card should be no more than 3-4 months depending on time of registration

Elisa Graham, the public relations officer (PRO) of the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC), says she is unaware that persons have had to wait up to half a year to get their voter-identification cards.

However, many people have complained about a six-month wait after going through the process of registration.

But, depending on when persons registered, Graham says the wait time is between three and four months for their names to appear on the voters’ list and for cards to be printed.
