Family of 15-month-old boy seeks financial assistance for urgent life-
saving surgery abroad

The family of a 15-month-old baby is seeking the public’s assistance with
travel overseas for the urgent and life-saving medical treatment he needs.
Kairo James has been diagnosed with a progressive vallecular cyst, which is
lying over his larynx.

Doctors say the cyst has to be surgically removed and he needs to be flown out
of the country as soon as possible to have this operation performed.
Reportedly, if the growth is not removed as soon as possible, there is the risk
that the infant’s airway could become obstructed – which could prove fatal.

The cost for the medical procedure and the hospital stay is US$20,000. The
price of airline tickets, accommodations, and other expenses are separate.
Donations to Kairo’s medical fund can be made at the Eastern Caribbean
Amalgamated Bank (ECAB) via account number 131004724.

Donors may also contact family members at 781-4001.
