Burglar enters Princess Street house and steals phones, cash, and bleaching cream while three occupants are asleep

Skin-lightening cream, money, and cell phones allegedly were stolen
from a Princess Street, Ottos, home during a burglary. The Police
are now investigating the incident, which reportedly took place
between 1:45 a.m. and 4:25 a.m. on February 27.

The owner of the house telephoned the Grays Farm Police Station
and reported that someone had broken into his home and stolen
quite a number of items.

Reports say the victim and his girlfriend, along with two other
friends, rent a wooden two-bedroom house. Except for one of the
women, who was at work at the time, everyone went to bed at about
midnight, with the house secured.

The man says his girlfriend used the bathroom at about 1:45 a.m.;
checked the house; and turned off the light in her roommate’s
bedroom.  And at this point, the house reportedly was still secured.

Reportedly, at about 4:25 a.m., when the roommate arrived home –
but before she entered the house – she observed that four panes of
louvre glass were missing from her bedroom window.

Apparently, the intruder had removed the louvres and placed them
on the ground under the bedroom window in order to gain entry.

The woman entered the house and immediately alerted the other
occupants.

A check was made inside the home, at which time it was discovered
that two cell phones which had been charging in the living room
were missing. Two bottles of White Secret skin-lightening cream,
valued at $126, had also been taken from a northern bedroom, while
$150 in cash had been stolen from a black bag that also had been in
the front room.

While the burglar had entered the house through a bedroom
window, exit reportedly had been made via the kitchen door.
