Break-in at Freetown Primary sees thieves making off with microwave oven after ransacked principal’s office

A government primary school was the target of vandals, who broke
into the school and stole an electronic item.

Reports say the Freetown Primary School was targeted by intruders
who entered the institution and stole a microwave oven.

The incident was reported to the Freetown Police Station by a
resident of the community, a cleaner at the school, who discovered
that the principal’s office had been broken into and ransacked.

Apparently the intruders had used force to break open a northern
door to the office, entered and ransacked it, and then removed the
microwave oven.

This offence allegedly occurred sometime between February 9 and
February 12.

Annually, the Board of Education reportedly has to spend hundreds
of thousands on repairs at schools as a result of vandalism and theft.
