Watts says no-confidence motion should be moved to stop Browne from ruining country’s reputation

St. George MP Algernon “Serpent” Watts is proposing that a motion
of no confidence be moved against Prime Minister Gaston Browne
since he appears to be losing touch with reality.

While on the campaign trail recently, Browne made remarks that
many residents consider to be narcissistic, including the declaration
that he is the best thing to have happened to Antigua and Barbuda
since Independence.

However, Watts says that Browne is not fit to run the country, as he
and his administration have failed to fulfill a number of promises,
including resolving the water problem in 14 days; increasing
employment opportunities; and constructing over a dozen hotels.

Now, Watts says, the prime minister needs to be stopped from
ruining the name and reputation of Antigua and Barbuda.

Meanwhile, Watts says the pending by-election in St. Mary’s South
will be the beginning of the end of the Antigua Labour Party.

Hence, he is admonishing voters, including Labour Party supporters,
to go out and vote for the United Progressive Party (UPP) candidate,
Kelvin “Shugy” Simon, since the results will be a referendum on
Browne’s leadership.
