ABIIT blesses primary school and The Care Project with trimester’s worth of students’ donations

As families continue to struggle with the high cost of living, a local education institution has taken the initiative to assist through the donation of food packages.

The Antigua and Barbuda International Institute of Technology (ABIIT) has stepped in to help, being conscious that many residents are experiencing financial difficulties.

Reportedly, every trimester, the ABIIT community makes contributions of toys and school and craft supplies; cleaning supplies and toiletries; and dried and canned foods, which are donated to institutions and families across the island.

This trimester, the decision was taken to “bless the staff and students at the TOR Memorial School, as well as the hard-working individuals over at The Care Project.”

Accordingly, ABIIT has donated the toiletries and cleaning supplies to The Care Project to supplement what it would usually receive from the Government.

The institution is extending special thanks to the students who graciously donated and made the initiative worthwhile.
