Thomas laments lack of opportunities for Barbudan youth

The former executive chairman of the Barbuda Tourism Board is lamenting the lack of opportunities for students in Barbuda under the current administration.

Speaking on the Good Morning Sass show, Linton Thomas said Barbudan students are no longer engaging in sporting activities on the mainland.

He juxtaposed the current situation against the UPP administration’s tenure, where a myriad of opportunities existed, including scholarships.

Over 40 Barbudans, six of whom qualified as medical doctors, received scholarships under the Baldwin Spencer-led administration.
