State of infrastructure is proof of Browne Administration’s mistreatment, UPP’s Rural West Candidate says

Senator Richard Lewis says the Browne Administration constantly mistreats the people of St. John’s Rural West, and – as proof – he points to the appropriation of the Five Islands Secondary School and the condition of the community’s infrastructure.

Lewis says the constituency is filthy; the roads need repair; and the drains need to be cleaned.

These conditions were not allowed under former MP Baldwin Spencer, he says, and the time has come to take back the constituency and remove the Antigua Labour Party from public office.

In the meantime, Lewis is grateful that Tropical Storm Fiona did not severely impact Antigua and Barbuda. He says the condition of the drains would have resulted in major flooding, even worse than was experienced in November 2020.
