Source confirms that Government’s indebtedness to American Airlines is forcing Post Office to turn away mail to the USA

The Government’s indebtedness to businesses includes American Airlines, a Ministry of Finance source has confirmed to REAL News.

This reportedly has caused the General Post Office to refuse letters and packages addressed to the United States of America, since the airline allegedly is refusing to transport mail until it is paid.

“Sad to say,” the Gaston Browne Administration does, in fact, owe the American carrier, the source confirmed, adding that this has been the case for “a while now.”

Critics say this is clear proof that Antigua and Barbuda is approaching “failed state” status.
