Two surrender to police, while third youth who allegedly was part of brutal attack on a teenager is still being sought

As a 16-year-old fights for his life, two young men are in police custody and another is being sought in connection with a brutal attack on the boy.

Reportedly the two turned themselves in to the Police on Saturday, May 7, following the almost deadly attack on Jaheem Jackson, who is warded in the Intensive Care Unit at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Jackson was attacked by three young men over a week ago, and the incident was captured on surveillance camera, with the footage widely circulated on social media.

The youth are seen picking up stones and other objects, which they used to attack and beat Jackson about the body.

However, most of the injuries were to his head, as he sustained cuts to his mouth, face, eyes and also to his hands.  Unconfirmed reports say that his skull was also damaged.

Residents have been praying for the young man, but his mother reportedly is fearful about his chances for recovery.
