APUA apologizes for not honouring water-distribution schedule today

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) Water Business Unit is recognizing that its Water Distribution Schedule has been less than adequate.

The Authority is now apologizing to customers who were scheduled for water distribution and did not receive it at the announced times.

APUA says this is due to unforeseen technical issues which have caused major delays to its anticipated distribution.

It says that a broken 20-inch main between the Crabbs Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant and the Parham Booster Station was being repaired today, April 27, and this impacted distribution to some areas.

APUA says, however, that an update will be posted for the schedule of Thursday, April 28, and regrets any inconvenience caused.
