Herberts woman reported missing, having last been seen on Saturday night; police seek public’s assistance in finding her

The Police continue to ask for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Herberts woman.

A Missing Persons Bulletin was issued on Monday, March 21, for 39-year-old Savitree “Sabo” Dineyal.

She was reported missing that day, after having last been seen on Saturday, March 19, leaving home at about 11:15 p.m.

Reports say she was driving a purple Nissan Serena van bearing the registration number C16135.  At the time, Dineyal, a Guyanese national, was dressed in a light purple dress and sandals.

The Herberts resident is described as fair in complexion, five feet in height, of medium build and with long black hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the nearest police station or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462-3913/14.

Ironically, some persons responding to the bulletin on Monday night claimed that Dineyal was actually being held in police custody at the time.  Up to this morning, there has been no confirmation of that report, however.
