Donations are being solicited as Team Island Girls picks up oars again to represent the country in a 2023 row

After conquering 3,000 miles of the Atlantic Ocean’s waters, Team Antigua Island Girls is lifting its oars to represent the Nation once again.

Christal Clashing, Kevinia Francis, Elvira Bell and Samaria Emmanuel, who successfully completed the 2019 Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge – from La Gomerra in the Canary Islands to English Harbour Antigua – will take to the high seas and compete in an even tougher challenge in 2023.

Phase one of the journey will cost US$150,000.00, and that sum will cover the boat and all the rowing essentials, Captain Kevinia Francis explains.

The crew is requesting assistance in completing this venture and is in the process of setting up a Go-Fund-Me page. But, in the meantime, they say, donations can be made to TEAM Island Girls at the Caribbean Union Bank.
