UPP climaxes year of activities with last virtual public rally for 2021 tonight; event to be staged at new venue, Wehner says

This evening, Thursday, December 16, the United Progressive Party (UPP) will be hosting its final virtual public meeting for the year.

An excited George Wehner, the Party’s Mobilization Officer, spoke about the upcoming event today on the Good Morning Sass show.

Wehner is predicting that the general elections will be called before 2023 and assures that the Party will be ready for the polls.

He says tonight’s meeting – which begins at 7 p.m. – will be staged at a brand-new venue, and he urges supporters to tune in and be a part of the event.

Earlier this year, the Party began staging a series of virtual meetings to engage its supporters and to apprise the public of its plans for governing the country once it is elected to office.  A second series, centred on dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, followed.

Tonight’s meeting is seen not only as a climax to the events hosted by the UPP in 2021, but the jump-off point for its 2022 campaign.
