UPP’s deFreitas will lead protest against the state of education on Tuesday morning
Franz DeFreitas, the United Progressive Party (UPP) Candidate for St. John’s City South, will be leading a picket in protest of the Browne Administration’s recent decisions on education.
DeFreitas promises he will be out on Tuesday morning, November 16, outside the Ministry of Education on Queen Elizabeth Highway, standing against all the policies that have created a poor climate for proper education.
These include the vaccination mandate and the shutting out of those who refuse to be inoculated.
The UPP Candidate says that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed among those who join him. But he is prepared to stand in this action by himself, he says.
Meanwhile, the Candidate for St. Mary’s North, Senator Jonathan Joseph, is supporting his colleague’s protest.
Joseph says he will be out with his placard to protest the unfair and draconian policies of the Gaston Browne Administration.
The picket is scheduled to run from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.
