Hospital reports death of another male in his 40s – the third in six days and the 95th victim of the coronavirus

Another man in his 40s has succumbed to complications of the COVID-19 virus; however, this victim was unvaccinated.

Dr. Albert Duncan, Medical Director at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, confirmed the death of a 49-year-old male who suffered with co-morbidities, this morning, October 14, at 6:20 a.m.

The man reportedly was admitted to the hospital on October 2 in severe respiratory distress that required immediate critical intervention.

He is the second male within 48 hours to have died due from COVID-19 complications and the third in six days.  The other two were fully vaccinated.

This death brings to 95 the number of people officially reported to have succumbed to the virus since the start of the pandemic in March last year.  

September was the deadliest month on record.
