JAMALE PRINGLE CALLS ON APUA TO URGENTLY ADDRESS WATER WOES IN HIS CONSTITUENCY AS HE SET TOWN HALL MEETING FOR JUNE 22

The United Progressive Party’s (UPP’s) constituency representative for All Saints East and St. Luke Jamale Pringle is calling on the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) to fix the water issues in Old Road.

Pringle says that some villagers have been without pipe-borne water for weeks.

He says he has made complaints on behalf of his constituents to the Authority but continues to receive excuses after excuses.

Meanwhile, the MP also complains of the poor infrastructure in the constituency including deplorable roads and drains.

Pringle says that the unemployment levels in the constituency are worrying. He says many of the persons who remain on the breadline were employed in the hotel industry prior to the pandemic.

Many hotels had to close their doors and some remain closed as a result.

Pringle says he has offered assistance in the form of food packages to the most needy and vulnerable.

In the meantime, Pringle says that he will host a Town Hall Meeting on June 22 to meet with his constituents and discuss what their needs are.

He says he wants the residents in the constituency to know that he is there for them.
