TWO MORE PEOPLE HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR THE COVID-19 VIRUS, BRINGING THE COUNTRY’S TOTAL INFECTIONS TO 1,239.

The new infections were confirmed on Monday, May 10, and came out of 34 tests conducted by the Mount St. John Medical Centre and four by the Caribbean Public Health Agency.

Health officials say there are 29 active cases, four of which are hospitalized with mild symptoms.There has been one recovered case, increasing that total to 1,179.

Meanwhile, as of May 10, the vaccination numbers, which continue a slow uptick, stand at 31,262.
