EIGHT NEW CORONA – VIRUS CASES RECORDED

Another eight lab-confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus have been reported, as vaccination figures make a slow crawl to the 27,000 target.

The Ministry of Health, on Tuesday night, March 23, released a new dashboard with statistics from Monday, March 22.

One hundred and fifteen samples were processed at the Mount St. John Medical Centre from which the eight positive cases emerged.

Consequently, the number of persons with confirmed COVID-19 infections, to date, stands at 1,080.These include 337 active cases and 715 recoveries.

Meanwhile, 10 persons were vaccinated on Monday, bringing that overall figure to 25,687.
