CALLING ALL WRITERS: WADADLI PEN COMPETITION
This year, 2021, the Wadadli Pen Competition will take on a twist – in that not only the youth will be eligible to take part.
Barbara Arindell, one of the organizers of the event says this year’s competition will be held under the theme “What’s Your Story?” and entries can touch on any topic.
Meanwhile, in addition to the competition, Wadadli Penis encouraging readers to select their best books for the last year. Arrindell says the winning author will get an opportunity to donate books in their name to a school of their choice.
She says the criteria and registration form are available on the Wadadli Pen website.
The competition, which is the brainchild of local author Joanne Hillhouse, has been running for well over a decade.
