AUA PUSHES AHEAD WITH PROGRAMMES DESPITE LOW ON-CAMPUS POPULATION

Despite being impacted by the pandemic in terms of in-person attendance by students, the American University of Antigua (AUA) is pushing ahead with its programmes.

The Vice President of Administration and Community Affairs, Vernon Solomon, says there are about 150 to 200 students on campus at this time.

Solomon says that despite the low in-person attendance, the University was prepared for it since it already had an active and functional online platform.

With the roll-out of the vaccination campaign, with which the university assisted last weekend, Solomon is hoping that operations will be able to resume to some level of normalcy.

AUA vaccinated over 700 senior education officials on Saturday, March 6.
