Shooting Victim Discharged While Shooter Still At Large
Omarie Christopher, the Golden Grove man who was shot on February 22 in the Point Area, reportedly has been discharged from the hospital.
Christopher sustained injuries that were not life-threatening when he was shot multiple times during an alleged robbery.
The gunman is alleged to have taken the man’s jewellery after shooting him, before fleeing through a nearby alley.
As the Police continue to search for the assailant, the 35-year-old man is now assisting the lawmen with their investigations.
They are still making an appeal to persons who might have witnessed the incident – which occurred at about 5:30 p.m. – to contact the Criminal Investigations Department, at 462-3913, or the nearest police station.
