Three persons said to be in critical condition after 11 hotel workers are injured in highway traffic accident

The journey home from work turned into a nightmare for at least 11 hotel
workers when the bus in which they were travelling overturned on the Sir
George Walter Highway late Thursday night, June 6.

Three of those hurt were said to be in critical condition.
The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) was summoned and rushed the injured
workers to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, while officials from the Fire and
Traffic Departments remained on the scene assisting.

It is alleged that the bus collided with a car and the impact caused it to turn
onto its side. The side front area of the other vehicle was badly dented.
The accident reportedly occurred at about 11:45 p.m.
