UWI-FI official will present on the role of AI in modern education at 20th edition of annual Dr. Alister Francis Memorial Lecture

The Antigua State College continues to honour the legacy of its former
principal and will host its annual Dr. Alister Francis Memorial Lecture in this
regard.
 
This will be the 20 th  edition of the annual lecture, which is slated to take place
on Monday, June 3, at 7 p.m., at the college’s auditorium.
 

Dr. Andrew Hunte, head of the School of Humanities and Education at The
UWI-Five Islands, will present on the topic “Revolutionizing Education: The
Role of AI in the Evolution of Modern Education.”
 
Dr. Francis was the founder and first principal of the Antigua State College and
the memorial lecture is a significant event in the academic community,
honouring his legacy and contributions to education.
 
The organizers say this lecture series is a part of the college’s commitment to
preserving his memory and sharing his insights with the community.
