Thieves break glass door and enter insurance office and make-off with cash pan of coins

Thieves made off with an undisclosed sum of coins last weekend
after breaking into the Pan American Insurance office on Friars
Hill Road.

The offence is said to have occurred between 5 pm on Saturday,
April 6, and 8:10 am on Sunday, April 7.

A broker at the insurance company reported the break-in to
Police and also revealed that the silver cash pan containing the
coins had been taken, as well.

A Police examination of the building revealed that a hard object
was likely used to create a small hole in an eastern glass door and
a hand was then inserted to unlock the door and gain entry into
the office.

Investigations into the offence are ongoing.
