Merchandise valued at more than $7k is stolen from storage container belonging to Lingies Windows and Doors

Police are investigating an incident in which over $7,000 worth of
Wood Grove security windows were stolen from Lingies Windows
and Doors.

The manager of the business, a Skerritts Pasture resident,
telephoned the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and
reported that seven of the windows, valued at $1,080 each, had been
stolen.

This offence reportedly occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on
November 9 and 7:15 a.m. on November 10.

Reports say the windows were stored inside a 40-foot container
located on the eastern side of the business place. The intruders
were able to gain access by breaking into the storage unit to remove
the items.

The Police reportedly were able to view CCTV footage of the scene,
and observe certain movements that could assist with their probe.
