Weather Alert

Antigua and Barbuda will be under another excessive heat outlook
in just over a week, with the potential for the Antigua and Barbuda
Meteorological Services (MET) to increase the threat level.

On Thursday afternoon the MET Office issued a bulletin warning
about the potential excessive heat event running from 7:30 a.m. to
6:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday. 
 
Forecaster Dale Destin says the heat index has the potential to rise
to more than 41°C, or 106 °F, in some areas, starting Sunday and
that an excessive heat watch may be required.
