Jamaican man found dead on church compound, but Police rule out foul play and say death appears to be from natural causes

A case that initially had been deemed a suspicious death has now
been ruled as a death from natural causes.

However, an official post mortem examination will have to be
performed on the body of the 62-year-old Jamaican man –
reportedly a resident of the Bathlodge area – to determine what led
to his demise.

The Police had been conducting investigations into the sudden death
after the man’s body was found on the compound of a church.
Reports say that, initially, foul play was suspected, as blood allegedly
was found on the scene. However, the Police later said otherwise,
and people allegedly have reported that the deceased had
complained of not feeling well.

Since his relatives have not yet been notified of his death, the man
has not been publicly identified.
